I order my Aquafish 22.8 to Finland and get it 30.8. Using eBay and paypal. So it was very fast.

Yesterday I got may Aqua Fish. From the Order till the Delivery yesterday it took about 6 weeks. I bought it from a Ebay Seller in India and he declared the shipment as a gift, so I dont had to pay any taxes here. I live in the middle of Germany. The phone works fine but now I have the problem with the LTE Bands. My phone only connects with 3G. My Jolla 1 connects with 4 G. I hope somebody can post a Tutorial which describes the succesful flashing with new modem firmware to unlock the LTE Bands, which are used in Germany. Maybe a Programmer of the Sailfish Crew can post a Tutorial. Thank You in advance.

Short answer: Not possible
Long answer: There is another thread here on TJC where this issue is discussed. Summarising the discussion: Jolla Zendesk stated that the HW of aqua fish and Jolla C is slightly different and nobody until now managed to unlock all bands.

I just collected an Aqua Fish from a post office. Time line for my order was:
Phone was packaged quite ok (the box had some bubble wrap around it + lots of tape). The package looked untouched so apparently Tulli (Finnish customs) didn't open it but accepted my custom declaration as is... The sender had marked it as "gift" and had not marked contents nor value.
As there was no cardboard or any other stiff packaging material used, corners of the box were slightly damaged. The phone and everything else inside was in good condition.

I received Aqua Fish from local post earlier today. Phone did not even stop at the custom office. Below dates if someone interested:
Full price was about 100 euros with all included. All contents in package were in good condition, no need even for battery charge, all ready to install the newest Sailfish OS version! :)

I am from India and bought Intex Aqua Fish through ebay.in. I have booked it on September 27, 2016 and received the product on October 03, 2016. The product was packed well and the product looks good. It marks an end to my search for android alternative.

Here's my story: I sucessfully bought my intex aqua fish from ebay.in from seller lowpriceshoppee. I didnt have a paysa account, so I payed on october 4, with a virtual credit card MBnet, for the sake of security. They didnt complaint and accept payment on october 7. Phone was shipped on october 11. Then, from the tracking number: - october 15, shipped internationallly - october 25, arrived at Lisbon, Portugal. - october 26, sent to office of exchange (customs) - november 3, send item to domestic location - november 7, unsuccessful item delivery attempt (I was not at home) - november 9, I went to mail office to pick it up. Yeah !!! Phone price was about 82€+20€ shippiment. Altought it was marked as a gift by the seller, customs charge me an extra 40€, almost half the price of the phone :-( they never asked me any documents or proof of purchase. Overall I very happy, it's a great phone for that price, and I'm enjoying a lot Sailfish OS.

I live in Austria. I ordered one from ebay end of October. It took a while (~3weeks) + ~120€ + custom tax ~23€. The phone is here and working. Very nice! The only downside is the charger. It does not fit and if I am about to use it I need an adapter. Amazing phone. I am in a process of testing and preparing it to replace my Nokia N9.

Else these brief customer reviews - ebay seller 1, ebay seller 2 and amazon.in seller - gives a good idea of the online buyers' experience, so far.

The credit card copy and credit card summary is additional verification by ebay to ensure that you are not using somebody else's stolen card. Tip: If you sent it by email to ebay, delete that sent mail. If somebody hacks your email account, that info would be like a gold mine for them.
