Any particular reason you want to use the Android outlook app? office 365 account integrates perfectly with sailfish calender, mail en people (well for the most part) apps.

Hi.

What Andrik means is that you don't need an Android App for this: you only need to create an Exchange Account with your user/password/server data in Settings/Accounts (at the bottom of the settings screen).

Regards.

I'm not sure what you mean.. You say it works, so the account is created? Just make sure to set the sync setting to anything except 'up to date' (that doesn't work for me anyway).

I've the same problem here. Can't use the outlook Android app with Sailfish and my exchange account. Same message than the one got by OP. Why I want this app to work? Simply because I email and calendar app of Sailfish are quite limited : I can't accept meeting request, if I look for an entreprise email address, email app doesn't search for it ...

So, solution is : either to improve the email and calendar app either to allow Sailfish to run Android outlook app

I tried to open my Office 365 mail on native browser and I cant access messages properly: sometimes they open, sometimes not....

But why, use the browser to read mail when all you have to do is configure your office365 account in Sailfish and then use the native mail client?

Andrik ( 2016-08-01 14:57:08 +0300 )edit

oh yes, but im yet to do that...

Has anyone been able to use O365 with two factor authentication ? Native client fails and browser is hit and miss.
