After a factory reset of my Intex Aqua Fish some weeks ago, Google calendar sync is not working any more. I found several threads in this forum about this issue. I assume it is a well known bug, that Jolla should fix.

However I need a workaround. I couldn't find a sufficient solution in this forum. If I want to synchronize my Google calendar, I have to remove and add this account. This is not really efficient.

I wouldn't choose Google calendar, but I have to use it, because my main client is using the Google services for corporate accounts. I assume I have to remove some cache or database to enable synchronisation again. Some ideas?

Used this (again) for this issue: https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202530688-How-to-heal-Google-calendar-or-contact-sync

It worked 100% good!

It works, but unfortunately only once. For the next synchronisation I have to enther the terminal commancs again.

If you prefer not to use terminal you can delete the gcal.ini file using Cargo Dock https://openrepos.net/content/wedmer/cargo-dock providing you have Developer mode enabled.

Would be good if Jolla would fix though.

I made an interesting observation: I received two reminders for the same date on the lock screen. There seems to be a kind of shadow calendar that still exists in the database but is not visible in the settings of the calendar app or the system accounts. Any idea to fix the bug?
