I have a company email (mail exchange account) and i cannot connect with my Jolla. I made all the correct settings and every time the phone changes my password. Might this be an issue that the phone does not support my company email account? Just find this very bizarre that Jolla does not support but others does.

What is provisionning? I did that and yes it works ... but I don't receive any notification when a new email arrives. So I guess there is other stuff not working ...

Worked like a charm... in Finnish: just check the option (poista automaattiset määritykset käytöstä) and now the app downloads mails :) Thanks guys (thumbs up)

@mousse04: I am no expert on this, but provisioning is basically settings done for you from some template. In this case the exchange server can set a lot of things (eg. "require that the phone is auto-locked after 2 minutes of inactivity by long alphanumeric password, which needs to be changed every 5 days and cannot repeat the last 10 used passwords"), and allow sync only when the handset reported back that the required settings are in effect.

Now why there are some servers which work with turned off provisioning and there are some which don't -- I don't know... Probably Jolla will need to have some sprints spent on this issue :-) Evidently they cannot target corporate users (if they wanted to...) until the provisioning is implemented properly, yet again sometimes the policies set by corporate IT often too strict and inpractical, so I really love to be able to switch off the nonsense device-lock/password requirements. But the ability to do so will result rejection of the phone by the "corporate world".... What would happen here depends on Jolla's corporate strategy (if there is any)....

@CsTom, Thanks a lot for the explanation. I agree with you, it is quite "interesting" and great that we can dismiss these policies ... but the strange thing is that I don't receive any notifications when a new email arrives ....

Sailfish OS' ActiveSync implementation does not support most of possibly configured/enforced policies on your company's MS Exchange Server like http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123484(v=exchg.141).aspx

huh? looks like it worked with the version before.. at all my old nokia works with exchange, but new jolla not - for me it looks like failure in coding.

What's new: Exchange ActiveSync policies introduced ('DevicePasswordEnabled' only)

Before last update provisioning was turn off by default, some servers will allow devices to connect without provisioning, if provisioning is on and the device can't full fill all requirements the server will deny the connection.
