This article talks about that "You will soon be able turn your Android device into a Sailfish device"

Jolla pioneered the ability to use existing Android hardware adaptations with the libhybris project and the first Jolla device is built upon an Android hardware adaptation (but is not Android, just uses the hardware adaptation)

What devices would you like to see SailfishOS on - what chipset, how much RAM, how big internal storage, what resolution and screen size, cores and speed? .. and why?

If a device exists already as an answer, vote it up!

Acer Iconia A1! I don't like Android so would love to use Sailfish in that too! :)

Droid 5, if leaks are true it should be very comparable to current Jolla (S4 dualcore, 1Gb RAM, 16Gb internal) but better screen 720p and HWKB

Should the title read 'Android-based devices'?

I see a lot of demand in the Answer section for Jolla (or nemo) Tablet. But before that happens, you must support landscape first. Please make it happen ;-)

I think this would be a nice improvement for the main Jolla website: allowing people to sign-up with their e-mail and current phone model they would wish to have Sailfish OS on. They could then be announced when Sailfish is available for their phone. I have friends who are interested in this.

OnePlus X seems to be a good future fit. https://oneplus.net/en/x/specs

Good price/performance ratio and nice/simplistic design. Perfect fit for SFOS 2.0

HTC HD2. Let's face it, you're not a real mobile OS until an HD2 runs it.

Real answer: A smartwatch, you could almost copy paste the cover gestures.

Now here are many devices, but is it possible to make a port by myself, or is it depending on jolla?

Given how many of the markets Jolla has mentioned they were going into, or at least looking towards, I'd like to see something along the lines of the newly announced Asus Padfone mini (4in mobile docking into 7in tablet) - and its elder the Padfone/Padfone 2/Padfone Infinity.

I would like a smart watch, with ability to show only one cover at a time. The watch display aspect ratio should match the active covers. Also with working actions. You could scroll the covers up and down.

It shouldn't be a too smart expensive one, but a little help in every day. Like music change, checking directions, decline calls (not answering!), showing appointments, and the time of course. And make it cool, but cheap.
