This article talks about that "You will soon be able turn your Android device into a Sailfish device"

Jolla pioneered the ability to use existing Android hardware adaptations with the libhybris project and the first Jolla device is built upon an Android hardware adaptation (but is not Android, just uses the hardware adaptation)

What devices would you like to see SailfishOS on - what chipset, how much RAM, how big internal storage, what resolution and screen size, cores and speed? .. and why?

If a device exists already as an answer, vote it up!

Acer Iconia A1! I don't like Android so would love to use Sailfish in that too! :)

Droid 5, if leaks are true it should be very comparable to current Jolla (S4 dualcore, 1Gb RAM, 16Gb internal) but better screen 720p and HWKB

Should the title read 'Android-based devices'?

I see a lot of demand in the Answer section for Jolla (or nemo) Tablet. But before that happens, you must support landscape first. Please make it happen ;-)

I think this would be a nice improvement for the main Jolla website: allowing people to sign-up with their e-mail and current phone model they would wish to have Sailfish OS on. They could then be announced when Sailfish is available for their phone. I have friends who are interested in this.

A Jolla SmartWatch. I'm not interessted in specs, as long as I can put an SD in and use it with my Jolla Phone. But would be greate to have one with its own SIM slot.

Sharp Aquos Crystal 305SH Because it offers a 5' screen in a more compact phone than the Jolla, thanks to it's Bezel-less screen : it would be a true pleasure for Sailfish gesture based use ;-)

Nokia X7-00, if possible as a side product from some other project... A pretty good piece of hardware, completely compromised by Nokia's privacy practice...

I'm in search of alternatives for any of the Samsung Galaxy Cameras. It would be a good device for opencv if the camera was fully developed.

Recently introduced LG Zero looks nice (somewhat reminds me of my favorite Nokia N8 in design).

Good price and HW is so enough for SFOS.
