Just to check and verify - Is the 1.1.2.16 Yliaavanlampi Update 11 officially released by Jolla?

From SF system update the update 11 is ready for download at least for me.

When I look the Yliaavanlampi release notes for early access, it has been edited from the headline but not from content point of view.

I am wondering should I download and install the available Update 11/SF OS 1.1.2.16, even there are many posts in TJC about the discovered problem/suggestions for improvements. Especially the native browser has had some reported issues.

I also checked that I am not early access subscriber i.e. the Update download is not driven by that route.

I still see many issues reported with 1.1.2, have they all been fixed? I am very unsure if it's worth waiting a bit more to see if there are still issues. I am a first one too.

Can some one tell me, do you still need to disable OpenRepos (Warehouse) and any repos from it before installing this ? Jolla's how to guide says only for SailfishOS version which is one of 0.99.5.11, 1.0.0.5, 1.0.1.10, 1.0.2.5 or 1.0.3.8 . Just wanted to clarify before I try anything.

No need to disable, I've done a few updates and all went well. :) Quote from the release notes: If your device is running software version lower than 1.0.4.20 and have WareHouse app installed (i.e you are using OpenRepos), disable all openrepo repositories before attempting to upgrade your device.

I have one of The First Ones, so others may get the update a little later.

I have a small "bug" after doing the upgrade. The galery is still showing ambiences - but photos and videos are missing. using cargo dock they are shown - so they are still there.

Can anybody confirm that? Is there a way to refresh the gallery?

Try clicking new photo in camera to refresh. Or better install Sailfish utilities and refresh media tracker database...

Sailfish utilities did not work - but after restarting 2 times (so 3 including the restart after the update) the pictures+ videos were included in the gallery again.
