Unable to connect to Skype

4 different versions, from 6.0 to the current release.

"Unable to connect to Skype You cannot be signed in at this time. Please check your mobile network settings and try again."

I have WiFi working well, no sim card installed yet. As I need that in a working phone.

I have restarted the phone.

Any ideas what might be hte issue? This is hte one App I do need for work.

I sent Skype 7.46 from my previous Xperia phone using APKshare (from F-droid repository) and now Skype connects, I can send text messages.

Camera is random green lines on black though, and seems frozen somewhat.

No idea what was going on.
