Bug: E-Mail synchronization does not work as configured [released]

Syncing IMAP acounts does not work as configured in settings->apps->email->planned sync for e-mail

Edit 18.2. Same for Exchange accounts or any other email accounts I guess since the problem is not directly related to email as commented from @VDVsx:

"this is related to platform wakeup/suspend, not email directly, needs to be carefully tested, unfortunately that takes some time :("

Shouldn't this question be left open as this is one of the most critical bug on the phone? People tend not to look at closed questions.

INCREDIBLE disappointed to see this issue not fixed even in the new update :( Well it's back to the drawer for my Jolla again then....

@Bj - Problem was solve with last update(1.0.4.20), if you still have troubles please comment in the appropriated thread:

my email stopped posting outgoing emails a couple of weeks maybe a month ago. The phone tells me there's a configuration problem. I recieve mails on my Exchange account though, but my ovi.com account only can only download manualy. what has happened? what to do?

@OL - ovi.com was having issues some time ago, was reported here by some users, I don't remember were is the thread, but they had to reconfigure the acct IIRC, due to some changes in ovi.com server. Please let me know if that does not help.

Seems not to be fixed in 1.0.3.8

Am I missing something?

=> Jolla waits in a drawer for next update to test if email syncing works...

No is not included in latest update, this is related to platform wakeup/suspend, not email directly, needs to be carefully tested, unfortunately that takes some time :(
