Bug: E-Mail synchronization does not work as configured [released]
Syncing IMAP acounts does not work as configured in settings->apps->email->planned sync for e-mail
Edit 18.2. Same for Exchange accounts or any other email accounts I guess since the problem is not directly related to email as commented from @VDVsx:
"this is related to platform wakeup/suspend, not email directly, needs to be carefully tested, unfortunately that takes some time :("
Shouldn't this question be left open as this is one of the most critical bug on the phone? People tend not to look at closed questions.

I recieve mails on my Exchange account though, but my ovi.com account only can only download manualy. what has happened? what to do?
OL ( 2014-10-19 00:04:09 +0200 )edit@OL - ovi.com was having issues some time ago, was reported here by some users, I don't remember were is the thread, but they had to reconfigure the acct IIRC, due to some changes in ovi.com server. Please let me know if that does not help.
