Sending Emails via 3G(GSM) [answered]
Possible to receive Email via 3G and Wifi, but only possible to send them via Wifi. The settings are ok (password etc.), everything is running fine on my N9. V1.2.05, delete my Email account and readded it again, same situation.
Hope someone has an idea ;-)
Most mobile carriers will block sending email on SMTP port 25 if it's not their SMTP server you're using to avoid being an open relay. Often they don't block other outgoing ports such as 26, 587 or 465.
Which you can use depends on the carrier, your mail server and if SSL/TLS is used.
Check what you have configured on your N9.

@aegis: Thanks for the Feedback. Use 587 as port, the settings are the same I used on my N9...

gabriel ( 2014-01-08 11:43:40 +0200 )edit@JonnJonz - Is the SIM card the same as in the N9 or from the same provider ? Email app treats all networks the same way, does not matter if wifi or 3G
VDVsx ( 2014-01-28 13:29:46 +0200 )edit@VDVsx - Yes same SIM card and same provider. And the settings are the same too. When I tried to sent Emails via 3G I got a failure message after some seconds. With Wifi everything is working fine.
