Hey,

i just stumbled over the missing MS Exchange App on the Intex Aqua Fish. It seems, that this is because an minimal licensingproblem only on this phone. On my older Jolla 1 everything worked fine.

Is there a work around known to get the MS Exchange App on the phone? Like copping the install data from the Jolla 1 to the Intex or something?

Edit: it is mandatory for me to use 'Active Sync'.

Edit 2: As a solution https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.office.outlook

Exchange/Active Sync is licensed product and you can't ask for warez stuff here.

The right answer would have been: MS is offering a small Exchange client via the Google Play store or just with a apk install.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.office.outlook

An it works fine, as i recently found out with the Intex.

You can install it via terminal. you can also remove intex stuff and fool your phone to think it's jolla C and install it via store. I believe if you are not in India you should do that. faster updates and getting rid of intex stuff is the reward and it's harmless, you can always factory reset to original rom

jupp, i already did that, and my Intex believes deeply in his existence as a Jolla C - but in terms of the Outlook / Exchangeproblem - it had basically no effect.

By the Way: @coderus: A big thank you 4 your workaround!!

I think there is, because of the licensing problem with Active Sync, a second barrier in SFOS to prevent a total reincarnation of Intexes as Jolla C's.
