Does anyone else have problems to add a Facebook account with 2.2.0.29 ? I have removed my account a few days ago and I can't add it again. When I try to add my account, I just get a blank page with a "you are not connected....". Any help ? Thanks !

There is a way to add Dropbox account and i can say it works. Go to gallery and pick a photo, click it and try to share it with dropbox. It will ask for your credentials and the account will be added to settings :)

The problem could be cause by the app appoval process, that Facebook has introduces. The Facebook API for not approved apps are blocked since August.
Maybe Jolla has applied for the apploval of the Facebook integration in Sailfish OS on time, but Facebook has rejected the integration. Unfortunately Facebook forces developers to select one of the following platforms:
My company has the same problem. We have a macOS app in the Mac App Store and have to remive the Facebook integration, because it was rejected. This issue is for some companies existential.
Because SailfishOS or Linux ist not listed, Facebook support has to be removed completely in the next releases.
Facebook probably wants to give the impression that privacy is important to the company. I think that in fact Facebook will prevent any use of its API that the company can not use to implement its business model of selling user data and advertising space.

I'm also facing this problem. Managed to add Twitter account but both Facebook and Dropbox accounts are impossible to add. Hoping for a quick fix for this

Restoring from a backup seems to work
How recent was your backup? Did that backup contain the faulty settings perhaps?
I've took a backup from early June, deleted everything from it except the Accounts, gave it a new name, scp'd it to the phone and restored it. Facebook now works again for me.

So I created a facebook account on my Nexus 5 running 2.1.4.15, no problem. Thena backup on my OneDrive account. Changed the name of the backup.(something like Xperia-X_hakkjP) Restored to my Xperia (2.2.029) and it seems to be working.

Hi yes, same behavior. I managed up to hit "log in" on facebook with correct credentials on a screen with tiny characters but nothing hapens.
Eventually, I have a similar issue with my dropBox account where I suspect it waits on the reCaptcha display that never happens...
